— THE CHALLENGE
The United Nations Disaster Assessment and Coordination (UNDAC) operates in some of the most critical and time-sensitive humanitarian contexts. They’re the first in when disaster hits — their presence is critical. But for all their impact, they remain largely unseen. Communication about their work is complex, and their story buried beneath layers of logistics, acronyms, and operational language.
Make the invisible visible.
Develop a flexible, visually consistent system that communicates the scope and diversity UNDAC’s work to a global audience that knows crisis but not the mechanics of response.
We took five letters — U-N-D-A-C — and made them a stage. We used them not as branding, but as vessels — Each letter became an introduction and a tribute to their work in the field.
