For its 8th Edition, we have reimagined the publication from the ground up, with the goal of having two complementary versions, an A4 digital edition (≈500 pages, 80+ infographics) and an A5 print edition for optimized field use (≈350 pages, 40+ infographics).
The project have pushed us to find ways to optimize the Indesign workflow by separating each book onto several Indesign files, and find ways to keep them consistent through Character and Paragraph Styles, GREP Styles, and other Indesign’s document setup and styles architecture tools. This has allowed us to distribute workload when needed, enabling multiple team members to work efficiently in parallel, resulting in faster delivery and higher quality.
